Center City Philadelphia Writer, Photographer, and Contributing Editor: Bonnie Eisenfeld has been writing about and photographing people, places, events, and other subjects of interest for the Center City Quarterly, the publication of the Center City Residents' Association, since March, 2012. Marketing Research Consultant: For more than 25 years, Bonnie has held corporate management positions in marketing research, strategy, and communications. Her most recent position was head of CIGNA’s corporate marketing research department. Then she was an independent marketing research consultant, working with a network of other marketing researchers, specializing in business and professional markets. She has been published in Quirk's Marketing Research Review, QRCA Views (Qualitative Research Consultants' Association), and Marketing News (American Marketing Association.) While at CIGNA, she wrote and published Sharing Research, an in-house newsletter about marketing research findings.
Education: Bonnie holds a MA in Communications from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Social Science and History from the University of Pennsylvania. She has also taken courses at Drexel University in marketing and marketing research and at the University of the Arts in photography and advertising design.
Community Involvement:
· Writing tutor and college admissions coach for high school students through Philadelphia Futures.
· Volunteer practice hiring interviewer with JEVS Human Services.
Previously, Bonnie was a member of Women for Social Innovation and a member of the board of directors of Philabundance, JEVS Human Services, and League of Women Voters of Philadelphia. She has volunteered with Jefferson Hospital's Kimmel Cancer Center as a patient buddy, caregiver buddy, and member of Patient Advisory Council. She has been a volunteer writer for the Center for Literacy.
